graduated in 2002 at Wright State University in Dayton, OH, where she received a BFA in Dance. As a Louisville native, she trained at several different dance schools including Ellen's School of Dance and University of Louisville Dance Academy. Professionally she has performed with Vee Corporation's Sesame Street Live, La Comedia Dinner Theater, and Six Flags KY Kingdom along with this being her 9th Moving Collective Concert. Nicole has performed with Moving Collective since 2006 and took on the role of co-producer in 2015.

has been a hailed by the Louisville Courier Journal as “a delight to watch” on stage. A freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher in the Louisville, KY area, she trained in Southern Indiana and Louisville where she gained experience in both dance and musical theatre. While earning her biology degree from Indiana University, she continued her dance studies in a program headed by Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride. Theresa has performed professionally with Ila Conoley’s ICONography Dance, the Susie Thiel Collaborative, Anna Sapozhnikov’s MOYAMO DANCE, Gordon Dance Projects, Rachel James, jan street dance theatre, and Art! Art! Barking Dog Dance Company. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Moving Collective, teaching at several studios in Louisville as well as adjunct faculty at the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville.

is originally from southern Illinois and has trained at studios and conventions across the country. Taylor's career highlights include being awarded Miss Dance Drill Team Illinois in 2010, Miss Illinois Drill Team Association in 2011, dancing at Madison Square Garden as a member and captain of the Butler University Dance Team, and performing with Moving Collective in their eleventh season.

is originally from Bloomington, IL and received her BFA in Dance from Belhaven University. Amanda has had the opportunity to dance with companies in Houston, TX, Jackson, MS, Denver, CO, and Colorado Springs, CO. Her choreography has been a SERBA Festival Recipient and has been performed by the Mississippi Metropolitan Ballet, Belhaven University’s Dance Ministry Ensemble, High Altitude Dance Ensemble, The Louisville Ballet Youth Ensemble, Vandivier Ford Dance Company and Moving Collective. She is currently teaching for the Louisville Ballet School, Motion Studio, and Louisville Dance Alliance. Amanda lives in Jeffersonville, IN with her husband and two children.

is a modern dance artist from Effingham, IL. A graduate of Indiana University's Contemporary Dance Program, Lauren has created over twenty original choreographic works and performed with modern dance companies in Indiana, Nebraska, and New Mexico. In addition to performing, Lauren has been teaching for over a decade, recently relocating from Albuquerque, NM where she was dance faculty with Keshet Dance Company.

is a Louisville native, began her dance education at the Louisville Ballet School, as a member of Louisville Ballet Youth Ensemble with performance credits at the Southeast Regional Ballet Festival. Tara continued her movement journey in Lexington with the University of Kentucky Dance Ensemble, serving as its secretary, in addition to the Dance Minor Program, under the direction of Susie Thiel. Upon graduation, Tara moved to Orlando to complete an internship as a performer at Walt Disney World. Tara has since returned to her hometown to pursue further education and is working in administration at the Louisville Ballet School.

is a Cincinnati based dancer, choreographer, performer, and teacher. Her professional work has been presented at the Ashville Fringe Festival in Ashville, North Carolina, The Alley Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky, the Performance and Time Arts series and the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, and School of Contemporary Dance and Thought in Northampton, MA. She has previously danced with MamLuft&Co Dance Company, Selene Carter, and Leah Fourier. A new member to the Cincinnati dance scene, she is thrilled to be around such talented artists and ecstatic to make work within this thriving and up and coming community.

is a native of Lexington, KY and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Wright State University (Dayton, OH). Previously she studied dance with Kentucky Ballet Theatre, Dayton Ballet, Nashville Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, and the University of Kentucky. While at WSU, she also enjoyed the opportunity to choreograph and direct dance works and plans to continue this trajectory in addition to performing. She has a deep interest in many dance styles, forms of media, expressions of art, and perspectives of life. Among her favorite things are travel, instant film, haute couture, space, and chocolate covered espresso beans.

is a Louisville, Kentucky native, began her dancing education at the age of 4 at Dance Unlimited. Her studies continued as she majored in dance at the Youth Performing Arts School. In 2011, she was accepted into Western Kentucky University dance program. After her freshman year, she changed career paths and graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelors in human and health performances. She is currently a dance instructor at Connie's School of Performing Arts where she has helped students develop styles in jazz, tap, and ballet.

began her dance career in small independent studios at the age of seven, sparking a life-long passion. Amber completed her studies as a dance major at the Youth Performing Arts School followed by training with the University of Louisville Dance Academy and the Louisville Ballet School. Amber enjoys being a part of keeping modern dance alive in Louisville and is thrilled to be a part of this collaboration.

is a Louisville, KY native, began her early dance education at various competition studios. It was not until she started at The Youth Performing Arts School that she found her passion for ballet and concert dancing. She continued to pursue her passion in college while attending Western Kentucky University, graduating with a B.A in Dance and a minor in Performing Arts Administration. Since finishing school, Courtney has had the pleasure of performing works by choreographers of the Bill T. Jones Company, Ballet Hispanico, and Alvin Alley Dance Theatre. She has traveled to multiple locations for dance including: Ashland, Oregon with Lisa Long Dance and Italy. In 2014, Courtney relocated to Chicago, IL to dance professionally with the Jayson Tisa Company and Project Bound.

Meghen L. McKinley
is a modern dancer, choreographer, and educator. Current choreography and performances include; Wreckage – a collaborative Skype choreography with Teal Darkenwald - East Carolina University, Inside These Walls (Solo Premiere) – Champaign Art Salon, Inside These Walls – guest choreography for Zodiaque Dance Company; SUNY Buffalo, Fly Away – Dance 14 Celebrate the Journey, Dusk to Dawn; Anderson University, and All Around Us – a multi-regional Dance Film. Along with dance collaborations, she continues to pursue her research interest area of The Relationship Between Media and Dance on the Performance Stage. Her professional credits include performance work with Germaul Barnes’ Dance 4 U Project/Black Bones, 92nd St Y in NYC, Dance Martha Dance! Martha’s Vineyard, Bernier Dance, and DeXdance Contemporary Dance Company, Orlando International Fringe Festival, The Hatch, Greenspace, Dancers Responding to Aids – St. Mark's Church NYC, and many fundraising and charity events. She is Co-Director of Convergence Dance Theatre (CDT) and board member of The Collaborative Dance Foundation (CDF) in Honolulu, Hawaii. Meghen received her BFA degree in dance performance from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and an MFA in dance performance and choreography at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Meghen is an Assistant Professor in Dance at Western Kentucky University.

is a native of Evansville, IN. A professional dance of all sorts: ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, tango, commercial, Radio City, theme parks and cruise ships, Kara has a passion for being grounded and a love for modern. She has had the opportunity to dance with companies in Chicago, IL, Richmond, VA, Miami, FL, New York, NY and now here in Louisville, KY. She currently teaches private and group Pilates and yoga sessions around the Louisville area and in her own studio, Core Principles, LLC. Kara lives in Louisville with her husband and two children.

is a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky where she received her BFA in Studio Art with a focus in Photography and Performance Art. During her time at UK, she also studied dance and was a member of the University of Kentucky Dance Ensemble. Since graduating she has trained and performed with Blackbird Dance Theatre in their original productions of Romeo & Juliet, Titus Andronicus, and Metamorphoses under the direction of Jenny Fitzpatrick. She is currently a dance instructor and the media director at Blackbird Dance Theatre.

is a Louisville native and began her dance training at 15 with the Louisville Ballet School where she had the opportunity to perform with the Louisville Ballet Youth Ensemble. She continued her dance education after high school and holds a B.A. in Dance and a minor in Sociology from Mercyhurst University. While in college, Amanda performed for three seasons with the Lake Erie Ballet in Erie, PA. After graduating, she danced with Ballet Theater of Maryland in Annapolis, MD as an apprentice for the 2009-2010 season. Amanda has performed with Moving Collective since 2010 and took on role of co-producer in 2011.

began her training in northeast Ohio and attended the University of Akron, where she received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance under Andrew Carroll, Cydney Spohn, MaryAnn Black, Tom Smith and Robin Prichard. She worked with guest artists including Doug Varone, Paul Taylor 2, Parsons Dance Company, LINES Ballet and Amy Miller-Groundworks Dance. After Graduation, Bethany went on to perform in parades at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Bethany has also performed with SMAG Dance Collective (Dayton), and MorrisonDance (Ohio City). This is her third performance with the Moving Collective.

graduated from Western Kentucky University with a BA in Dance and Biology. She has performed abroad in Italy with Balletto di Civitavecchia, at the Jazz Dance World Congress, and is currently dancing with Numinous Flux, a modern company in Nashville. TN. Kylene has also been recognized for her outstanding choreography by the American College Dance Association. She is currently teaching at Western Kentucky University where she was able to choreograph the Broadway Musical Guys and Dolls. Kylene is thrilled to be performing again and is grateful for the continued love and support from her family and friends.
